Chappell Roan is being accused of “pushing” his assistant at the red carpet event last week.
The 27 -year -old singer was on the red carpet of the 2025 fashion angels prizes last week when a video of her went viral for allegedly being rude with her assistant.
The video in question showed the Grammy winner greeting his fans while two of his teammates were standing near her. The singer then headed for her fans, moving her assistant in the process using her arm when they seemed to collide.
The assistant’s expression was also captured in the video when his eyes opened with an ironic smile. However, another closer angle showed a very light blow with the singer only gently moving the assistant.
However, Internet users were soon divided over viral videos, with some suddenly root for being “rude” and “irregular”, while other fans called critics for dramatizing interaction.
“Even if he did not pushed her, it was still rude. It is clear that the woman was trying to go on a road and did not see Chappell, taking her out of that she was unnecessary,” wrote a user of social networks.
A second user felt that “it was an emotional and psychological thrust, with their hand there to infer of a thrust … truly sinister”, while a third fanatic also agreed.
“Even as her fan, it is quite obvious that she was rude to do that, even if she didn’t touch the woman, she was still rude and disrespectful,” said the comment.
Not all his fans doubted his intention, since he pointed out that the singer “literally only took advantage of her to let her know because she is looking to the other side?”
Another also said: “She did nothing wrong at all”, with a more devout fan pointing out: “This was clearly just a misunderstanding.”
