New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson criticized the claim that he was related to Jeffrey Epstein in some way after his name was mentioned in an email last week.

Wilson’s name was mentioned in an email chain among 3 million that the Justice Department released on Friday. It was seen in correspondence between Epstein and his personal pilot, Larry Visoski. The two discussed the possibility of Wilson purchasing Epstein’s Gulfstream G-IV in 2019.

But Wilson firmly distanced himself from Epstein in a post on X.

“NO!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT! Not TODAY, Satan!” he wrote. “A Random airplane broker tried to sell me a plane. I had no idea who the plane was and never bought it. I never spoke to or met the man.

“Thank God!!!”

Visoski wrote that Wilson, who was with the Seattle Seahawks at the time, was calling a runner about the “nonstop” plane.

“Here’s the dilemma, according to Russell,” the email said. “Russell wants to sign a new contract with (the) Seattle SeaHawks before informing the media and his team that he is buying a plane, are you worried that it will affect his contract negotiations for any reason?

“Russell is asking for a way to block the plane until his deal is signed, it could be 2 weeks, 2 months or more. He took many photos and videos during the flight, with his wife or girlfriend Ciara (she is a fairly popular singer).”

Visoski picked Epstein’s brain about a possible deal he could offer Wilson.

A representative for the Super Bowl champion told The Seattle Times that he “never purchased the plane, nor was he aware that any plane discussed by third parties had any connection to Epstein.”

The emails were released last week as part of the Justice Department’s dumping of more than 3 million documents related to the investigation of the human trafficker and child sex offender.

Epstein was found dead in a Manhattan federal prison cell on August 10, 2019. It was later ruled a suicide.
