Russell Wilson’s era may have ended for New York giants, but its impact on the faithful culture of the team can be delayed.

Wilson is destined to be sent to the bank by the giants in favor of the rookie field marshal Jaxson Dart this week, according to multiple reports, apparently finishing Wilson’s career as the head of the team after only three games.

Wilson entered his first season with New York with the mentality to “help New York giants win daily,” he told Pak Gazette Digital. But along the way, he also brought his faith to the team’s locker room.

Wilson told Pak Gazette Digital before the season, in July, that he and his teammates of the giants had regular biblical studies.

“We have many types that are super strong in their faith,” Wilson said. “We have our biblical studies throughout the week and the things we do as a collective group. I know that each team does different things, and we also have many of that. And we are grateful to do what we can do. I am grateful to be a New York giant, and I appreciate God every day for that.”

Wilson has been one of the most Christian quartbacks in the NFL throughout his career.

His successor in Dart is also a devout Christian. Dart is only the third Mormon Field Marshal in the history of the NFL, and a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the last days.

Wilson gave his thoughts about Dart’s ability compared to Wilson’s Seattle Seahawks To win the initial work.

“I think Jaxson is a very good worker. He is a very good teammate. He is a guy who has had a very good university career,” Wilson said in July.

Wilson signed a one -year contract and $ 21 million with the team in the low season, while Dart was selected by the team with the 25th general selection in the NFL draft after returning to the first round to obtain the quartback.

When Wilson surpassed Flynn as the seattle -holding seafood in 2012, Flynn had just signed a three -year contract and $ 26 million. Wilson, a rookie, had been selected in the third round of the draft of that year, but ended up defeating the veteran for the initial work before week 1. Wilson took Seahawks to a record of 11-5 and a victory in the playoffs in its first year, before taking the team to a super bot victory in the next season in 2013.

Now, Wilson is at the other end of that dynamic, seeing the youngest Dart ascend as the giant starter this week against the Los Angeles Chargers.

And both will probably rely on their faith to overcome this transition.
