It is no secret that crowds in Bethpage Black last weekend during the Ryder Cup were harder than normal golf crowds.

“I love Rory, you know it, but you can’t say that. You can’t say that fans need to behave better and, meanwhile, waste them. You can’t do both. You have to be one or the other.”
At that press conference, Pak Gazette Digital asked Mcilroy about his interactions with fans and how he chooses when to do it.
“Honestly, I would say it is only by impulse,” Mcilroy said. “Sometimes I do it, sometimes I do not. I am a rather impulsive character, if you have not noticed.

However, it was not enough, and Europe became the first team to win a Ryder Cup on the road since they did it in 2012. It was also the first time since Europe won three consecutive from 2010 to 2014 that a team won the consecutive Ryder glasses.
