Sabrina Carpenter is calling out the White House after her song was used in a controversial Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportation video, and she’s not stopping.
The singer reacted on X after the Trump administration shared a clip showing ICE agents detaining people described as “dangerous” criminals living in the United States without authorization.
Your track Juno plays in the background of the 21-second video, which was posted with the caption: “Have you ever tried this? Bye,” referencing her viral moments on stage.
Carpenter wasted no time setting the record straight.
“This video is evil and disgusting,” he wrote. “Never involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.”
Following his statement, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson responded and defended the administration’s actions.
He said “we will not apologize for deporting dangerous illegal criminal murderers, rapists and pedophiles from our country,” adding that anyone who opposed the effort was “stupid” or “slow.”
Carpenter, who will also headline Coachella in 2026, joins a growing list of artists who have objected to the Trump White House using their music.
Kenny Loggins also spoke earlier this year about danger zoneBeyoncé demanded that the use of Freedomand artists including ABBA, Olivia Rodrigo and Foo Fighters have previously expressed the same concerns about the White House’s use of their songs.
Carpenter’s message made it clear that he wants no association with the administration’s policies and wants his music to remain completely separate from it.
