Sabu, the wrestling legend that made a name as an unconditional and violent fighter in the ring, has died, WWE announced Sunday. I was 60 years old.
The fighter, whose real name was Terry Brunk, held his final event in Las Vegas during the Wrestlemania weekend and defeated Gamechanger Wrestling (GCW) Joey Janela in a spike wire match without ropes.

Pwinsider.com first reported Sabu’s death.
“WWE is sad to find out that Terry Brunk, known for wrestling fans as Sabu, has died,” the company said in a statement. “WWE extends his condolences to the family, friends and fans of Sabu.”

GCW added: “He was an outlaw and a Gamechanger. He inspired so many that he entered a GCW ring and will continue to inspire for the coming generations.
“Your legacy will last forever and will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, and … Long Live Sabu.”
Sabu had an indelible impact on the world, and was known by those who reacted to his death.

Sabu was Ed Ferhat’s nephew, known in WWE as the sheikh, and won multiple championships in multiple companies.

In the heyday of his career, he was a triple crown champion in the wrestling of the championship. He won ECW’s World Heavyweight Championship twice and was a Tag team champion three times. He also celebrated the ECW World Television Championship and was FTW’s heavyweight champion.
