Air traffic control (ATC) has ordered pilots to inform the difficulties of the GPS signal immediately, together with the details of the interference, to guarantee the safety and efficiency of flight operations.
In case of navigation difficulties, pilots have been advised to take the necessary measures to maintain safe and continuous flight navigation and inform ATC to get more help.
Interruptions, mainly due to frequency interference, have the potential to affect flight routes and cause deviations in the aircraft trajectory. Pakistan aviation authorities are working on mitigating problems, but security measures and continuous monitoring are being applied to avoid any setback.
The notice states that pilots must be attentive and communicate any alteration related to GPS immediately, particularly because such interference could endanger the safe navigation of flights.
