Salesforce has finally completed its $ 8 billion agreement to buy information, since it seems to take the next step forward on its AI trip.
The purchase of the cloud data management firm will give Salesforce an important impulse of AI technology, in particular as it continues to produce and implement the next generation of AI agents.

The CRM giant had been forced to launch plans for an acquisition of informatics in April 2024 due to the pressure of investors, but just over a year later, the agreement has made.
Salesforce says that when closing the agreement, it plans to “quickly integrate the computer technology stack” to its existing services and systems, including the addition of data integration, quality, governance and unified metadata for agentforce, and a single data portfolio with MDM in Data Cloud.
As with previous acquisitions, the company said it will support computer plans to build its own products, which will then become part of the broader Salesforce ecosystem.
“By joining the power of Data Cloud, Mulasesoft and Tableau with the advanced capacities for leading data management in the computer industry, we will allow autonomous agents to deliver more intelligent, safer and more scalable results for each company, and significantly strengthens our position in the Enterprise data market of $ 150 billion plus of $ 150 billion,” Benioff added.
Salesforce pointed out the combination of the rich catalog of computer data, data integration, governance, quality and privacy, metadata management and master data management services (MDM) with the Salesforce platform, “will establish a unified architecture for the agent, which allows the agents to operate safely, and the scale already responsible through the modern company.”
