The party still goes to Sam Reinhart and the Florida Panthers, since they obtained consecutive victories in the Stanley Cup after their 6th victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday.
“It doesn’t sleep too much, but we’re doing very well,” Reinhart joked while talking with Pak Gazette Digital during an appearance celebrating the victory of the Cup with Panthers Fans at Raising Cane’s in Tamarac, Fla.
“I was just saying: ‘Who said this is not a hockey city?’ You spend a foot here, it will change your mind very fast. “

For Reinhart, it was a game that will not forget after scoring four goals in the 5-1 victory in Home Ice. Then, the celebration began long before the final horn sounded at Cierant Bank Arena.
The Panthers have taken the cup everywhere through the sun and the surrounding towns and cities, including Captain Aleksander Barkov by calling the doors of their neighbors at 5 in the morning in the morning after victory to share the emotion.
This is a feeling that Reinhart and many other teammates felt last year when they defeated the same oilers, winning in game 7 to collect the trophy. Reinhart admits that the second time is better.

“I think there was a moment, maybe a day ago, where it was like, ‘we’ve been there, done before’, and very quickly changed his mentality,” he said. “In many cases, it is sweeter than the first, so we will enjoy every moment of this.”
Florida was the first team since the Lightning of Tampa Bay 2020 and 2021 to win the consecutive Stanley drinks. So, the next question is obvious: Are Panthers a dynasty?
Better yet, do they need that third consecutive victory in the Stanley Cup to be cemented as one?

Reinhart gave the perfect answer when asked if his team is on the verge of winning the dynasty label.
“I mean, that’s what our mentality [is]”He explained.” We have always been a bit day by day, and last year, when they asked about a repetition, we focused on enjoying the first.
“So, when the time comes, we know we will be ready and we will be motivated. But we will stay at the time as we did all the playoffs.”
Reinhart also touched the talent that the team added on the deadline for exchange, including the heroes of the playoffs, Brad Marchand and Seth Jones, who quickly gelated with their new teammates.
“It’s amazing,” Reinhart said about newcomers who helped the Panthers to win everything. “To see the new types enter and take a step forward in some great situations, it has been quite special. We have a couple of competitors inside and out of ice, so we are having fun.”

As Reinhart said, the celebration will continue and the Panthers will live at the time. But while GM Bill Zito reiterated the same on Tuesday night, he also noticed his desire to obtain the Sam Bennett center, the winner of the Conn Smythe trophy, Aaron Ekblad, Marchand and Nate Schmidt under contract to make a race at the next three season.
These conversations will come, but Reinhart knows that the Panthers will be prepared to defend their title once again when the album falls for the 2025-26 season.
