Samsung has announced prices and availability of USA.
The new Samsung Neo Qled TV line consists of two 8K, QN990F and QN900F, and two 4K series, QN90F, QN80F. The price and availability for a third 4K series, the QN70F of entry level, will be announced later.
The main good news here is that the price of the emblematic series 4K QN90F is comparable to Samsung QN90D 4K Samsung televisions last year, with a 65 -inch model with a price of $ 2,699. And the new QN80F series has an even lower price than the Samsung Qn85 input level of last year, with initial prices for a 55-inch input prices at $ 1,299- $ 100 less than a 55-inch QN85D in the launch.
The less good 8K news is that Samsung 8K qn990F’s emblematic televisions have a price most higher than the Samsung Qn900D series of 8k Samsung last year. The initial price for a 75 -inch QN990F model is $ 6,499, for example, while the 75 -inch QN900D that we reviewed in 2024 was launched at $ 6,299.
According to Samsung, the 65 -inch QN900F series models and 75 inches are available as of today, and the 85 -inch model will soon be available, together with the complete QN990F series. Complete televisions of the QN90F and QN80F series are also available as of today.

The new mini-lid LED television series QN990F of Samsung is a definitive update on the QN900D series last year, the selection of the main 8K in our best televisions guide, with new features that include a wireless connection and technology box without glare to reduce screen reflections in bright rooms. It also carries the pro 8K AI Upcaling Pro processing found in the QN900D series and admits 8K to 120Hz and 4K to 240Hz (although with a higher entry delay than expected in the game mode, as we determine in a practical test of the QN990F).
While these updates are significant, consumers generally expect to see new characteristics and improvements on televisions year after year with prices that remain stable or, better yet, decreasing. In 2023, we considered how 8k TVs were supposed to be the next big thing: what happened? In that article, we said “there is a wide hope for more affordable 8K mini televisions in the non -distant future”, a position based on a 8K TV sales forecast by the consultants of the exhibition supply chain (DSCC).
Making 8K TV prices fire is exactly the opposite of what we expected, although Samsung QN900F series models are $ 200 less expensive in all sizes than the QN800D series last year.
Fortunately, the prices of Samsung’s 4K mini-lideros televisions are maintained quickly, and the company is providing more than lower price options with the new QN80F series, and the series presumably even cheaper QN70F. And if the story is repeated, we will see prices for all the new Samsung 8K and 4K televisions fall shortly after the launch, as they did in 2024.
