- Samsung has confirmed more UI 8 schedule details
- Galaxy S25 phones will receive a complete update in September
- One UI 8 Watch will play older watches later in the year
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 launched with an UI 8 (based on Android 16) pre -installed, and the deployment for older phones is not far away: Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S25 series will obtain the software update in September.
Samsung confirmed the news in a press release, which also announced that the Beta One UI 8 ongoing program will expand to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 next week, before reaching more devices next month.
The test phase for an UI 8 began in May, and shortly after the official introduction of an UI 7 in fact. Samsung is clearly interested in reaching the Android launching schedule of Google, which has moved later this year.
Among the characteristics that the software update provides with you are updates to Bluetooth Audio (which allows multiple simultaneous connections), improved exchange options, more capacities for the bar now and safety updates on the device.

A UI 8 will be accompanied at some point by the update of the One UI 8 Watch to get the best Samsung watches, but it seems that waiting for that will be a little longer, it will arrive “later in the year,” says Samsung.
You can already get a clock UI 8 on your wrist, but only in a select number of models: the new Galaxy Watch 8 or Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, the renewed Galaxy Watch Ultra by 2025, or the Original Ultra Galaxy Watch Watch was launched in 2024.
As is the case with the phones and their software update, there is also a beta version available for watches, but at the time of writing, it is only available for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 series and only if it is in the United States origin or Samsung from South Korea.
A clock UI 8 brings with it a selection of useful updates, including new tools to monitor sleep and improve its executions, and antioxidant measurements. More improvements, including Gemini AI, could also be on their way.
