- Samsung Galaxy Watch users complain about restoring problems
- Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra users seem affected
A large number of Samsung Galaxy Watch users report that their Galaxy Watch 7 models and Galaxy Watch Ultra continue to find a forced restart problem that requires them to configure their devices again.
The Spike reader warned me for the first time about the problem, who contacted me about a problem with his Samsung Galaxy Watch 7. Since the last update, they and other users have noticed that the clock 7 is randomly disconnected from the phone with which it is combined, so that the Samsung Galaxy Wearable application will not recognize the clock, to require a factor reset to stop again.
“For me this happens once a week,” Spike told me. “I contacted Samsung, who wanted me to send my watch, but I am quite sure that it is a software problem, since many people in the forum are having the same problem.”

A Samsung community forum traveled by Techradar in fact reveals an extensive thread of users that seem to suffer this problem.
“Without any apparent reason, my watch continues to make a forced restart,” said the original poster. “Then I have to go through the whole process of configuring it again,” they added, even mentioning that the last hiccups completely changed some watch configurations.
Other users intervened to say that they have been experiencing the same problem. “Me too. 3 times now in less than 2 weeks,” a user replied.
The thread is entitled ‘”Galaxy Watch 7/Ultra Restinting’, which seems to indicate that this problem is affecting the two best smart watches in Samsung and it is not clear if it extends to any other model.
The precise nature of the problem and its extension are not very murky, but users are definitely informing persistent forced remains in their Galaxy watches, often several times a week. At least sometimes, this requires that users go through the configuration process to re -connect the clock.
We have communicated with Samsung about the problem, but this is definitely a problem in development, and one that seems to be quite frequent.
The publication of the Samsung forum has 24 likes and more than 300 responses of users affected in a similar way. Samsung also recently confirmed that some of his watches were not tracking the dream correctly, and recommended a solution to users.
