- Samsung reveals 2026 OLED TVs, with Glare Free technology coming to the mid-range S90H
- It is also betting on large screen sizes, announcing 115-inch models
- Samsung’s The Frame art TV will be available in a new 98-inch size
Several of the best TVs of 2025 were Samsung models, so it has a lot to live up to in 2026. Based on the first announcements we had at CES 2026, it looks like it should live up to expectations.
The company previously announced its new line of Samsung Micro RGB TVs, which will be available in 55, 65, 75, 85, and 100-inch sizes. These will feature Samsung’s Glare Free anti-reflective screen.
The company’s latest NQ4 AI processor for its TVs features several AI upgrades, including improved 4K AI Upscaling, an AI customization mode that adapts picture settings to your preferences based on detected content, and Auto HDR Remastering, which upscales standard dynamic range content to high dynamic range.
For football fans, there is a new AI Soccer mode that automatically adapts picture and motion settings when it detects football matches being displayed on the screen. There are also AI sound upgrades, including Adaptive Sound and AI Sound Controller, the latter of which lets you separately adjust individual sound layers, such as dialogue and music.
On the OLED TV front, the new flagship Samsung S95H will be the successor to one of the best OLED TVs of 2025, the Samsung S95F. The S95H features design changes, including a metal frame, and has been updated to use a Zero Connect wireless box; this was introduced in last year’s lineup on certain models, including the Samsung QN990F and The Frame Pro.
The mid-range Samsung S90H will get the Glare Free OLED technology previously reserved for the company’s flagship OLED and mini-LED TVs, while the entry-level S85H will come in a 48-inch size for the first time.
The big story for Samsung’s 2026 line of Neo QLED mini-LED TVs is the introduction of larger screens, including a 115-inch Samsung QN90H (successor to last year’s superb Samsung QN90F) and a 100-inch Samsung QN80H, which will include AI features to help upscale lower-resolution content on these larger screens.
For lifestyle TVs, The Frame Pro will now come in a smaller 55-inch size. For the first time in the series, the cheaper, non-professional The Frame TVs will not use the One Connect box, but will instead use built-in connections like a more traditional TV. Samsung is also introducing a new 98-inch model to the lineup, the largest The Frame TV yet. Finally, there will be 43- and 50-inch The Frame models, although they will use the One Connect box.
See below for detailed details on Samsung’s new displays.
OLED
The flagship Samsung S95H OLED will be available in 55, 65, 77 and 83-inch sizes and will continue to use a QD-OLED panel in most, although Samsung did not confirm whether the 83-inch will use a WOLED panel like last year.
The main changes here are based on the design. You no longer use the One Conect external connection box and now have the connections integrated into the TV; However, and it’s a big one, you can now optionally use the Wireless One Connect Box, first introduced last year with the Samsung QN990F and The Frame Pro TVs. This houses connections for external devices and transmits signals wirelessly to the TV, and because the TV has its own connections, this means you can have up to a full eight HDMI 2.1 connections for this TV.
It will also have a metal frame and bezel and will come with a slim wall mount.
The S95H is said to be up to 35% brighter than its predecessor Samsung S95F.
The Samsung S90H is the mid-range OLED for 2026 and improves on its predecessor Samsung S90F with a 15% brightness increase. The big news here is that it will have Samsung’s Glare Free OLED anti-glare display, which I’ve found to be effective at eliminating mirror-like reflections in brighter rooms. The S90H’s support for 4K 165Hz and Nvidia G-Sync, along with FreeSync, ALLM, and HDR10+ gaming, should put it right up there with the best gaming TVs.
Details on the entry-level Samsung S85H OLED are scarce for now, but it will arrive in a new 48-inch model, a size category currently covered by its LG B5 series rival in the US.
Neo QLED and QLED large screen, including The Frame
Samsung’s announcements confirmed its commitment to larger TVs, with a host of new super-large screens including a 115-inch Samsung QN90H, successor to the five-star Samsung QN90F. The QN90F was our best sports TV in 2026, so if the QN90H follows in its footsteps, the 115-inch It could become the ultimate TV for watching sports with a large group. The ads also included a 100-inch Samsung QN80H, the mid-range model in the range.
Samsung’s new 98-inch The Frame is the largest arts and lifestyle TV launched to date. This larger The Frame will use a QLED panel and integrated connections instead of an external One Connect box.
