- The new notices suggest that Samsung’s One UI 7 delay will rise on April 15
- In addition, the new images claim to show an early version of One UI 8 that is executed in a galaxy z fold 6
- Samsung has not yet finished launching an UI 7
Samsung has already captured many films for the generationally chaotic deployment of an UI 7, the implementation of the Android 15 company for Samsung Galaxy phones, and a last minute delay announced on April 14 has not helped the situation.
However, a remarkable typster has postulated that this delay could be more a blow to the road than a complete high, with the last rumors that suggest that the pause will rise on April 15, that is today at the time of writing.
This comes from the ice universe, an outstanding Tipster who shared the suggestion in a publication apparently eliminated to X (previously Twitter), which was subsequently informed by Android Authority.
According to a April 15 publication made by a manager of Samsung Solutions without the name and moderator of the Forum of the Samsung Korean Community, the deployment of update was paused due to “some problems that require maintenance”, but also point out that Samsung has “completed its inspection and will resume the updates soon.”
A UI 7 is the long -awaited Android 15 update for phones and Tablets Samsung Galaxy. Although a version prior to the release of the update can be found loaded on Samsung Galaxy S25 phones, as well as in the last models of Serie A, an UI 7 is still considered unpublished, since it has not yet completed its deployment to older phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S24.
Samsung has taken so long to implement a UI 7, based on Android 15, which was launched in September 2024, which we previously reported about the concerns that Android 16 could launch before Samsung manages to issue the update.
An IU 8 possible filtered images
Although Samsung seems to have won the race against Android 16, another rumor has served to visualize how far we are in the next development cycle.
The images shared by SmartPrix claim to show a Samsung Galaxy Z fold 6 phone that runs an early alpha version of One UI 8, based on Android 16.
In addition to some visual adjustments lower than a handful of applications, the report suggests that an UI 8 focuses mainly on optimization.
The report adds that the fact that only a few applications have made changes suggests that an UI 8 is in very early development stages.
In fact, if the launch of an UI 7 marks a restart of the Samsung Annual Development Cycle, we may not wait to see an UI 8 launched until 2026.
Personally, I would be happy with a smaller and easier update next time, if it means a faster release than we have seen with an IU 7. Executing the oldest software can really really get the wind out of the candles from even the best Samsung phones.
