- Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro brings resistant durability with IP68, Mil-STD-810H and Gorilla Glass
- Snapdragon 7s gen 3 of medium range chips handles essential commercial tasks
- Admit a 10,100 mAh battery of 10,100 mAh of calot and the pogo load
Samsung has released a new resistant tablet with a 10.1 -inch Wuxga TFT LCD screen with an 16:10 appearance ratio, an adaptive update speed of up to 120 Hz and touch sensitivity for gloves with a screen use of 2 mm thick and wet, although not under water.
There are not many resistant tablets of the main brands, so it is great to see the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro specifically built for difficult environments. It has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, the MIL-STD-810H certification for durability in extreme conditions and Gorilla Glass Vicus+ to protect the screen against scratches and disinfectants such as ethanol and lifting cleaners based on bleach.
The energy should not be a problem, since the tablet includes a replaceable battery to the 10,100 mAh user that supports a hot dual-swap, allowing to change a battery without turning off the device. A Pogo Pin interface supports the dock based, although the dock is sold separately.
3.5 mm headphone jack
This is not a device with the aim of competing with conventional tablets in gross performance. It is fed by a Snapdragon 7s gen 3 chip of 4nm, matched with 6 GB U 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, expandable through microSD to 2TB. This chip offers an average range performance and is below the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 series in the Qualcomm alignment.
For connectivity, the tablet admits 5g (Sub-6), LTE, Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC with frontal labeling. It is also compatible with a physicist and ESIM, although the availability of ESIM can vary according to the region. Navigation is covered by GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou and QZSS, although satellite coverage may differ depending on the location.
The Tab Active5 Pro Galaxy includes a 3.5 mm headphones connector, an increasingly rare feature in modern devices. Samsung retained the port specifically for first -line workers who trust cable headphones where Bluetooth can be unreliable or restricted.
Do not expect photography at the flagship level of the Activa Tab Galaxy5 Pro. This productivity -centered tablet includes a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front sensor. However, it is included with a pen with IP68 classification for additional functionality.
With a weight of approximately 680 g, the tablet also supports a USB 3.2 type C port, Samsung Knox and Knox Vault for greater security, an RGB light sensor and an active programmable key for rapid access to user -defined functions.
“In Samsung, we understand that first -line professionals need technology that adapts to their accelerated and demanding work environments,” said Jerry Park, EVP and head of the global Mobile B2B team, MX Business in Samsung Electronics.
He added that Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro combines “resistant durability, business degree security, perfect connectivity and intuitive characteristics promoted by AI to help companies operate efficiently in hard conditions while maximizing productivity and minimizes inactivity time.”
The Tab Active5 Pro Galaxy will be available from April 2025, with a recommended retail price of £ 769 in the United Kingdom. The price of the United States has not yet been confirmed.
