Saudi Arabia, Pakistan to strengthen defense, security relations

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia reaffirmed their commitment to bring a bilateral association to new heights and strengthen defense and security cooperation, recognizing the importance of collaboration efforts to address regional security challenges.

Bilateral ties and cooperation were discussed at a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Saudi heir prince and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Bin Salman here.

The Prime Minister, who is on a four -day visit to the Kingdom, was accompanied by the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, head of the Army staff, General Syed also Munir and the Prime Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz.

The meeting reaffirmed the strong and historical ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with discussions focused on improving cooperation in economic, commercial, investment, energy and defense sectors.

Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the growing economic collaboration between the two nations.

The prime minister appreciated the commitment of the kingdom to increase investments in key sectors, which would contribute to the economic growth and stability of Pakistan.

The two leaders maintained in depth discussions about the regional situation in evolution, as well as the geopolitical landscape and agreed to work closely at all levels to promote their shared vision of peace, stability and prosperity in the region.

The Saudi heir prince recognized the important contributions of the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia and agreed to improve measures to facilitate their well -being.

Both leaders emphasized the need to further strengthen the ties of people, cultural exchanges and educational collaboration.

Prime Minister and Heir Prince reaffirmed their commitment to raise the Association of Arabia of Pakistan-Saudita to new heights, guided by mutual respect, shared interests and a common vision for progress and prosperity.

Economic ties with Pakistan

In a separate meeting, Saudi Arabia investment minister, Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz al Faleh, expressed the country’s interest in deepening economic ties with Pakistan.

The bilateral economic cooperation was discussed when Prime Minister Shehbaz met the Saudi Investment Minister Khalid al Faleh, and head of the Joint Task Force for the Mohammad economic commitment to Tuwaijri during the four -day visit.

Discussions focused on strengthening economic cooperation, attracting Saudi investments and accelerating joint initiatives in key sectors.

After extending the best wishes to the leadership of the kingdom, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to facilitate Saudi investors, highlighting the strategic position of the field and friendly policies with investment.

He emphasized the vast potential of Pakistan in energy, infrastructure, agriculture and technology, inviting Saudi companies to explore opportunities under SIFC.

Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al Faleh, and the head of the Task Force, Mohammad al Tuwaijri, expressed the strong interest of Saudi Arabia to deepen economic ties with Pakistan.

They argued to improve institutional collaboration to accelerate investment projects and guarantee their implementation without problems.

The meeting stressed the commitment of both nations to promote a mutually beneficial economic relationship in the long term.

PM in Madina

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived at Madina Munawara on Thursday. Upon arriving at Madina Munawara, Governor Madina Prince Salman Bin Sultan Al-Saud received prime minister at the airport.

He will present his respect for Broza-E-Rasool of Hazrat Muhammad (La Paz is with him) and will offer prayers and nawafil in Masjid-E-Nabwi. It will offer special prayers for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
