Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended the broadcast of short -term visas for citizens from 14 countries, including Pakistan, as of April 13, as part of the measures to administer travel flows before the Hajj season, according to Gulf news.
The prohibition applies to the visa of commercial and multiple entrance visits, e-tourists visas and family visit visas. The affected countries include India, Egypt, Pakistan, Yemen, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan, Nigeria, Algeria, Indonesia, Iraq, Sudan, Bangladesh and Libya.
Travelers from these nations that already have valid visas in the short term can enter the kingdom until April 13, but must go no later than April 29.
The decision is still overcrowded during the Hajj last year, when many pilgrims entered using non -Hajj visas, striving the logistics capacity of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi authorities said that temporary moratorium is aimed at improving coordination and guaranteeing security during annual pilgrimage.
