Nvidia has signed a strategic agreement with Humain, a new subsidiary focused on the AI of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, as part of an ambitious plan to establish the kingdom as the world leader in artificial intelligence by 2030.
The association includes large -scale infrastructure development, training in the workforce and a massive hardware deployment with hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GB300 chips.
Humain plans to deploy up to 500 megawatts of computer capacity of AI, starting with 18,000 GB300 Grace Blackwell Superchips driven by Nvidia’s Infiniband Networking. These chips will be used in hyperscala data centers in Saudi Arabia, designed to train and operate Sovereign AI models at scale.
Broader digital transformation objectives
The measure is intended to support the largest digital transformation objectives of the country and economic diversification described in 2030 Vision.
The association also includes the adoption of the Omniverse Platform of Nvidia. According to Humain, this will allow the development of physical and robotic applications in industries such as manufacturing, logistics and energy.
Through the use of digital twins and simulation tools, companies in the kingdom can optimize physical environments for greater efficiency, safety and sustainability.
The development of the workforce is a key component of collaboration. Humain and Nvidia plan to alter thousands of citizens and Saudi developers in areas such as robotics, simulation and twin digital technologies.
“AI, such as electricity and the Internet, is the essential infrastructure for each nation,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. “Together with Humain, we are building AI infrastructure so that the people and companies of Saudi Arabia realize the bold vision of the kingdom.”
His excellence Eng.
