Amid increasing tensions between Pakistan with nuclear and Indian weapons, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Adel Al-Jubeir, has arrived in Islamabad for an official visit, after its stay in New Delhi, Pakistan radio reported.
Upon arrival, Al-Jubeir was warmly received by the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.
During his visit, Al-Jubeir met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two discussed a variety of themes, including the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India.

It is expected that Al-Jubeir will have more conversations with the Pakistani leadership during your visit, with a particular approach in the growing situation between the two neighboring countries.
The sources said that the United States and Saudi Arabia emerged as two main interlocutors between Pakistan and India. Those efforts were more visible on Thursday.
While Saudi Arabia sent Al-Jubeir to New Delhi in an unbeatized visit, the Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, spoke with Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan, and then telephoned Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

While blaming New Delhi for the current crisis, Pakistan, according to Fuentes, told the Saudi and American interlocutors that Islamabad had never wanted the escalation in tensions.
It is believed that Pakistan told those international players that the country wanted the international community to condemn the attacks of Indian missiles aimed at innocent civilians.
The sources said that Pakistan asked both the United States and Saudi Arabia that India needs to repair his paths and that he will have to reverse his decision to maintain the treaty in suspense.
