Islamabad:
The Supreme Court will today take ten appeals related to electoral disputes.
A three -member bank led by Judge Aminuddin Khan will listen to these appeals, starting at 9:30 am the bank also includes Judge Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Judge Miangul Hassan Aurengzeb.
Scheduled cases include the request of Aqeel Aslam on alleged rig in PP-182. There are separate requests from Muhammad Rafiq and Ali Imran with respect to delimitation.
Ghazar Rasool and Major (RETD) Faisal Aziz have presented separate requests that defy the rejection of their nomination documents and Sarbuland Khan and Saleh Butani have presented separate requests that seek to count votes.
There is a request for Malik Ashraf Khan challenging the electoral results under form 47. There is also a request from Muhammad Shehbaz with respect to dual nationality and its impact on its candidacy.
