Islamabad:
The Association of Lawyers of the Supreme Court (SCBA) has suspended one of its key charges, Secretary Salman Mansoor, who had filed a petition against the 26th constitutional amendment without approval of the body.
According to the sources, the suspension was approved during the meeting of the Executive Committee of SCBA. They said that Mansoor misused his position in violation of the association’s rules, adding that he had been previously warned.
Salman Mansoor had presented a constitutional request against the 26th Constitutional amendment in his capacity as Secretary without obtaining the necessary approval.
