Scott Wolf is speaking for the first time since he requested the divorce of his separate wife, Kelley Wolf, in June.
In an exclusive conversation with People, The 57 -year -old actor accused the former Kelley of consigning “false and disturbing” claims in the midst of the divorce battle.
“My continuous hope is that this more difficult chapter of our family’s lives remain as private as possible, however, my children’s well -being is at stake, and that will always be my priority,” he told The Outlet.
According to text messages reviewed by Pulsiher, Kelley allegedly told Scott that he planned “making statements” such as “psychological abuse, child abuse, childhood danger, passport theft”, despite admitting that he did not believe they were true.
“To protect my children, I am providing the text messages that he sent me where he describes this plan, so there are no questions about their intentions,” Scott said.
According to reports, Kelley explained that he was acting the way to “create more urgency to recover children. Or at least recover joint custody”, and that “the only way I can fight is to produce statements that are equal to their own or older.”
Scott described the accusations “without foundation and incredibly dangerous”, pointing out: “The worst part is that they are traumatic for our children.”
“I still ask for privacy and respect for our family, and I thank everyone who has shown their love and support,” he concluded his statement.
