Defense experts say incident exposes Afghan Taliban regime’s claims that it does not support terrorism in Pakistan
Security forces have identified eight terrorists killed during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) on April 1 in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan. Authorities confirmed that two of the dead were Afghan citizens, security sources said Saturday.
According to security sources, “the first terrorist has been identified as Amir Hamza Haqyar, son of Abdul Karim, while the second is called Amir Abdul Rahim, son of Zaroli, resident in Paktia, Afghanistan.”
Defense experts say the incident exposes the Afghan Taliban regime’s claims that it does not support terrorism in Pakistan.
“They have used the peace talks as a cover to extract aid and trade benefits from Pakistan,” said a defense analyst.
Another expert added: “There has been no change in the terrorist mentality of the Taliban. Anyone expecting progress in these negotiations is mistaken.”

The experts further urged that operations under the code name Ghazab Lil Haq must continue with greater intensity. “The Taliban are just putting on a show under the guise of talks,” they said.
During the conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Pakistan named the last military action. Operation Ghazab Lil Haq. The phrase is understood to mean “Anger for the truth” or “Rage for the sake of justice,” reflecting what officials describe as a forceful response to the assault.
