The security forces eliminated five terrorists belonging to an organization prohibited during an intelligence -based operation in the Duki district of Baluchistan, confirmed the officials of the Department of Terrorism against Terrorism on Saturday.
The Department of Antiterrorism (CTD) carried out the operation in the Dabbar mountain region after receiving credible intelligence about the terrorist presence.
The operation resulted in an intense shooting that left the five dead terrorists.
The bodies of the terrorists were transferred to hospitals by medical-legal formalities.
Baluchistan’s prime minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, praised the successful operation carried out by the CTD, the FC and other security forces, stating: “Our brave forces have once again demonstrated their resolution against the terrorist threat.”
He reiterated the government’s zero tolerance policy towards terrorism and its facilitators.
Bugti warned that “terrorist supporters and facilitators will face all the force of the law,” while reaffirming the commitment of the administration to protect civil life and maintain regional stability.
