Prime Minister pays tribute to security forces for successful operation against terrorists, says entire nation supports forces
Security forces killed four terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district, the army’s media wing said in a statement.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out on Saturday following reports of terrorists linked to Fitna al Hindustan in the area.
“During the operation, our troops effectively targeted the location of the terrorists. After an intense exchange of fire, four Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralized,” the ISPR said.
The army added that arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the slain terrorists, who were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area. Disinfection operations were continuing to ensure that no other Indian-sponsored terrorists remained nearby.
The ISPR declared that the anti-terror campaign would continue at full pace under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, to eliminate the menace of foreign sponsored terrorism in the country.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to security forces for the successful operation against Fitna al Hindustan-affiliated terrorists in Kalat.
Hailing the killing of four terrorists, the prime minister said security forces were achieving great successes against terrorism. “The entire nation supports Pakistan’s armed forces in this war against terrorism,” he said, adding that the country would be rid of all forms of terrorism.
Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi also praised the security forces for the intelligence-based operation in Kalat. “The security forces are determined to eliminate Fitna al Khawarij in Balochistan,” he said, adding that the brave personnel had brought four terrorists to an exemplary end.
He said the timely and effective action of security forces in Kalat was commendable and described their role in ensuring peace and stability in Balochistan as unforgettable.
