Security forces killed six militants in Karak Ibo: ISPR

Six terrorists were killed on Friday in an intelligence -based operation (IBO) carried out by the security forces in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Karak, announced the army media wing.

In a statement, public relations between services (ISPR) confirmed that the operation was launched after reports of the presence of “khwarij”, a term used to refer to extremist militants.

The security forces hired the location of the militants, which resulted in the death of six terrorists, according to the ISPR.

The army added that the operation was part of the ongoing efforts to eliminate the remaining terrorist elements in the region. “The disinfection operation continues to ensure that the area is eliminated from the remaining threats,” reads the statement.

ISPR also stressed that the sacrifices of the soldiers involved in the operation reinforce Pakistan’s commitment to free the country of terrorism and guarantee peace and stability.
