Sega was the best qualified editor of 2024, according to the annual classifications of Metacritic.
Another year of video game releases has passed, and with the 15th annual editorial classification of that metacritic they have officially launched, revealing Sega as the winner with a score of 325.5 points.
SEGA is the first editor to achieve the first place classification of Metacritic three times, the first in 2016 followed by 2021, and everything is thanks to the various role -playing launches (RPG) that we saw in 2024.
Those include the award -winning Metaphor: Refantazio of Person Atlas developer, SHIN MEGAMI TENSI V: Revengewho also obtained a Nintendo Switch launch, and Like a dragon: infinite wealth.
Although Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep The Board It did not start as the other Sega titles, the editor still beat Sony’s tastes, which had a great year with the launch of the winner of the game of the year Astro Bot and numerous PC ports.
For the 2023 classification of Metacritic, Capcom was crowned as the best qualified editor, however, this year is left behind in second place for only a few points despite the successful launch of Dragon’s Dogma 2.
With Monster Hunter Wilds Making waves in its first week of launch, it only exceeded 8 million units sold, Capcom has the potential to see a similar classification or more next year.
