Serena Williams husband came to the defense of the legend of tennis on social networks amid criticism for her decision to participate in the part -time show of Kendrick Lamar and Crip Walk.
Williams made the dance movement in the middle of Lamar’s DISS track towards the rival rapper Drake. The retired tennis star also had a previous relationship with Drake, making her appearance during the track even more eyebrows.

It was one of the few surprises that Lamar had for the show, which also included Samuel L. Jackson dressed as “Uncle Sam” making social comments among Compton’s rapper songs.
While some criticized Williams, Alexis Ohanian wrote in an X post that his appearance was “bigger than music.”
“Some of you have no idea how criticized it was serene for this same dance in Wimbledon 13 years ago and is shown … This is bigger than music,” wrote Reddit’s co -founder.
Williams Crip walked while he was in Wimbledon during the 2012 Olympic Games in London and also generated criticism.

Williams seemed not to be upset by criticism. He published several videos of herself before and after the part -time show.
“We are halftime from the Super Bowl? I died a bit!” She wrote in a publication on Sunday night.
Williams is one of the most successful tennis in recent memory: man or woman. She won 23 Grand Slam titles, second in the history of female tennis behind Margaret Court.
