In a statement issued by Public Relations between Services (ISPR), the military said that a disinfection operation was underway in the area to eliminate the remaining threats and that those responsible for the attack would take before justice.

The martyred soldiers were identified as Subedar Umar Farooq (42, Karachi), Naik Asif Khan (28, Karak), Naik Mashkoor Ali (28, Orakzai), Sepay Tariq Nawaz (26, Lakki Marwat), Sepoy Wojid Ahmed Faiz (28, Bagh), Sepo Muhammad (22, 22, 22, 22, 22, 22, 22, 22, 22, 22, 22 22, Karak) Sepoy Muhammad Kashif Khan (28, Kohat).

“The security forces are still determined to frustrate the attempts to sabotage the peace, stability and progress of Baluchistan,” said the ISPR, added that the attack would not weaken the resolution of the Armed Forces.

“The nefarious designs of India and its representatives that operate on the Pakistani soil will be defeated by the brave security forces, the agencies of application of the law and the brave nation of Pakistan, Inshaallá,” he added.
