Seven people die in a traffic accident in Ormara

Seven people were killed and eight injured when two vehicles collided on the Makran coastal road near Neji, about 40 kilometers from Ormara, on Saturday night.

Rescue officials reported that the accident occurred around 2:30 am when a stopped tanker truck suddenly blocked the road, causing two vehicles traveling at high speed to collide. One vehicle was traveling from Gwadar to Karachi, while the other was heading from Karachi to Turbat.

The impact was so severe that several passengers died instantly, while others suffered serious injuries. 1122 rescue teams and coastal highway police quickly reached the scene and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Among those who lost their lives were Mushtaq, son of Arbab of Shahdadkot; BanĂ³, from Hosab; Ali Ahmed, son of Hasil Khan of Quetta; Ali Bakhsh, son of Abdul Ghafoor of Sonmiani; Karim Khan, son of Ali Khan of Turbat; and dad Muhammad, son of Misri of Karachi.
