The security forces killed seven militants in two separate operations in the district of Dera Ismail Khan of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, said the wing of military media on Sunday.
According to a statement of public relations between services (ISPR), the forces carried out an intelligence -based operation in the Daraman area after militant presence reports.
“During the operation, the security forces were effectively addressed to the hiding place of the militants, killing four,” said the statement.
In a second operation in the Madi area, the security personnel killed three more militants, ISPR added.
Weapons and explosives of the militants were recovered, which were supposedly involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.
Security forces continue to sweep the area for any remaining threat, said ISPR, reaffirming their commitment to eradicate the country’s terrorism.
