Shaqir O’Neal, son of the member of the Basketball Hall Shaquille O’Neal, has made a great decision about his basketball future.
Shaqir leaves Florida A&M and enters the NCAA transfer portal, on3 reported.
The Junior striker averaged 6.7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game during the 2024-25 season with the Rattlers.

If it is transferred, O’Neal would end his career in Tallahassee after having started 17 of 29 games.

This would not be the first time in the O’Neal University Basketball career, has changed schools. It was transferred to Florida A&M after a period of two years in Texas Southern.

O’Neal appeared in 41 games during his time with the tigers, starting in two games. It was included as a three -star recruit in high school, according to its biography on the Athletics website of Florida A&M.

In 2023, the youngest son of Shaq, Me’arah O’Neal, signed his National Charter of intention to play for the Florida Gators. He made his debut with Florida during the 2024-25 season and registered 19 points in his career in a game against Arkansas in February.
