Sam Darnold comes from his best year at the NFL for a mile, however, a legend of the Seattle Seahawks is confident that he can overcome it in 2025.
Darnold, who launched for 4,319 yards and 35 touchdowns for a 14-3 minnesota vikings team last season, must demonstrate his worth once again with a different team this season after joining Seahawks in free agency.
The expectations are still high for Darnold, but Shaun Alexander, the legendary runner of the Seahawks that MVP won from the League in 2005, believes that Darnold will verify all the boxes this season.

“I think it will be better this year than last year with us, and I think they obtained the appropriate offensive coordinator for him,” Alexander told Pak Gazette Digital after his work with the “Salute To Service NFL Training Camp of Usaa on Monday. “I think the system looks good for him. They look great in practice.”
Darnold meets Klint Kubiak, who served as the offensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints last season. They were together in 2023 with the San Francisco 49ers, where Kubiak served as a pass coordinator and Darnold was supporting Brock Purdy after a failed tenure with the Carolina Panthers.

It is a new offensive in all aspects for Seahawks, even in the open receiver with DK Metcalf sent to the Pittsburgh Steelers in a low season exchange. Metcalf was a constant in the pass game for Seattle, but with the rise of Jaxon Smith-Njigba last season, they continued and brought Cooper Kupp, a movement to Alexander does not care.
Combine receptive weapons with the dynamic duo of Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet in the field, and Alexander went bold with his prediction for Seahawks.

“I’m still thinking about Seahawks 17-0,” said Alexander, laughing.
Being realistic, Alexander believes this is a playoff team. They lost it at 10-7 last year, but Alexander has them right now.
“I think they will have 11-6,” he said. “I think they are going to defeat the right teams and surprise someone. I know it will be very difficult to overcome them at home. So you get these things that equate, they will be a good team.
“Both Kenneth and Charbonnet healthy, that is a good duo. I like how they are using Sam on the offensive. They come up with their scheme that makes it better.
Darnold and Seahawks will have a hard confrontation of the NFC West against their former team, the 49ers, on September 7 at home to start the 2025 campaign compared to “Los 12S” for the first time.

Appreciating those who serve us
While Alexander loved to talk about Shop, he also loved to meet with men and women from the military through Usea’s greeting to attend the NFL training camp, competing in simulacros similar to those made by the member of the Seahawks honor ring.
Alexander admired competitiveness during the 40 -yard race, broad jump and more exercises in the NFL Combine, calling the “special” day.
He also appreciates the military given their own family ties. His second older brother was a 22 -year -old veteran.

“I simply thought of him as a hero. As if he had an older brother who is a hero. He protects the country,” Alexander said about his brother.
“You can’t undo what you were part. It’s like, ‘Man, I know what they are doing, and I know you’re grinding, sometimes you want to stop and do not. But you’re a hero for someone.
