SHC gives bail to Sahir Hassan in case of drugs, Armaghan sent in pretrial detention

The Super Court of Sindh (SHC) on Friday to the bond to Sahir Hassan, son of actor Sajid Hassan, in a narcotics case that involves the recovery of 557 grams of cannabis.

The court also ordered Hassan to present a RS1 million guarantee bonus, said Express News.

The case, investigated by the South Police of Karachi, emerged from the arrest of Hassan on February 22, 2025 in the area of ​​the Defense Housing Authority. He remained in judicial custody for more than two months.

A constitutional bank of the SHC approved the bail statement after listening to arguments from both sides. The Court recognized the extended duration of custody and ordered conditional release while the procedures continue.

According to an interim Challan presented last month before the South Judicial Magistrate, Hassan supposedly confessed that transferring the income of drug sale to a bank account administered by his father’s shopping partner.

Subsequently, the Court summoned the manager, instructing that he submit supporting support documents to verify the transactions.

However, as of the last hearing, the manager has not been able to provide any financial registry or statements to counteract the accusation.

On the other hand, the District and Sessions Judge South has granted a five -day physical return of the accused, Armaghan, to the wing of cyber crimes in a case related to the operation of an illegal call center.

The hearing took place in a Karachi court room, where Armaghan was presented through a video link.

The FIA ​​cyber crime officials requested the physical prison, stating that the suspect is accused of executing an illegal call center and transferring the cryptocurrency.

They said that a physical prison was essential for technical research.

The court accepted the application and delivered Armaghan to the custody of the wing of the cybercrime for five days. Penitentiary authorities were also ordered to transfer their custody accordingly.
