Hyderabad:

It is likely that the Educational Boards in Sindh, waiting for quotes from full -time presidents for several years, continue to function under the intermediate bosses, since the Superior Court of Sindh has maintained the recent appointments of eight presidents for the meetings.

The Hyderab Circuit Bank put the respondents, including the Sindh government, through the main secretary, department of universities and joints of Sindh and the search committee, in addition to the eight presidents, with notice for March 26.

“Until that date, the subject’s summary will not proceed to the adversity of the petitioners,” says the order.

The Abdul Jabbar Abbassi and Sikandar Ali Mirjat petitioners were candidates in the recruitment process. The first is an associated teacher who teaches the English language, based in Hyderabad, and the second is the president of the Intermediate and Secondary Education Board, Larkana.

A summary was moved with those eight names, in addition to one of the Syed Waseem Akhtar brigs, Sindh’s prime minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, on February 3. But the name of Akhtar in the preselection of the candidates stirred a reaction in the province due to his domicile of another province, which led him to withdraw his candidacy.

“This is another instance that demonstrates that the recruitment process is a farce and based on nepotism and stinking of bad faith,” said the petitioners.

The CM, on March 1, supported the eight names recommended by the search committee for appointment.

The two petitioners depended on their case on the statement that the Search Committee, which made the recruitment, acted outside its reach because their domain is limited to the appointments of the vice chains of public sector universities.

Another argument, declared by the president of Bise Larkana, Mirjat, cited that none of the eight presidents had previous experience of working in the educational boards of Sindh.

He claimed that all employees of the Board with relevant work experience were ignored in the appointment process in violation of the court order. He recalled that the secretary’s meetings and universities had given a verbal guarantee in the SHC on December 13, 2024, stating: “In cases where candidates with equal grades are available, preference would be given to those with experience in the department.”

The petitioner said that the same statement became part of the judge’s order, but the government respondents ended up supposedly blurring that order.

There are seven educational boards and a technique in the province. The eight recommended names for the presidents positions include Dr. Asif Ali Memon, Ghulam Hussain Soho, Mansoor Rajput, Muhammad Misbah Tunio, Musharraf Ali Rajput, Dr. Rafiq Ahmed Chandio, Khalid Hussain Mahar and Dr Zahid Ali Channar. They secured 56 to 59.4 scores in the recruitment process.

The positions of president of the bisos of Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas and Nawabshah, as well as the secondary and higher secondary education boards of Karachi and the Technical Education Board of Sindh, were announced in December 2023. The petitioners prayed the court to declare the appointments and on February 20 and its end of March and its end of March and its end of March 1 court.

They also begged the court to restrict the notification of the appointments and prohibit the selected candidates from acting in compliance with the summary.
