During today’s hearing, the registrar of the University of Karachi, Professor Imran Siddiqui, appeared before the court and looked for time to present an answer.
“We received the notice the day before yesterday,” said Professor Siddiqui while looking for more time to answer.
“How long do you need to send an answer?” Judge Kalhoro asked.
The lawyer Salahuddin, who represents Judge Jahangiri, asked the court to suspend the notification of KU until an answer is presented.
While accepting the application of the KU registrar’s professor for more time, the court postponed the hearing.
