Shedeur Sanders had a historical and unprecedented free fall in the NFL draft last week, and history has dominated the sports media since then.
The host of ESPN “College Gameday”, recon Davis, intervened if the media are protective or even fear Sanders, but also his legendary father, the Colorado Deion coach, too.
“I am sure that some are. I think that when you paint with a wide brush like that, that you do not recognize the fact that there will be some people who are and others that do not,” Davis said during a recent appearance in “Do not give me Dakich” by Outkick.

Davis said there are people in sports media trying to protect Deion and Shedeur, while others can be too critical.
“But I don’t think you can say that absolutely, that all sports media are trying to protect Deion and Shedeur, as I think it would be unfair if you choose some types that say (Shedeur) is not good enough, Deion made xy and z for him and that is the only reason why he is in this place, I think that is unfair,” Davis said.
