Islamabad:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Wednesday that the recent four -day armed conflict between Pakistan and India showed that “Pahalgam’s incident was a false flag operation.”
“If it were the opposite,” he said, “India should have presented solid evidence to the world to prove his case.”
Going to a ceremony at the United States embassy that marks the 249th anniversary of American independence, the prime minister recalled that during the Kakul Academy event, he had offered international, credible and transparent investigation in the Pahlagam incident, so that the world could review the facts and fiction.
“Our sincere offer was received with aggression,” he said. “But Pakistan responded with patience and moderation.”
He said that from May 6 to 7, the Indian aggression martyred 33 Pakistani, including children and the elderly, and wounded many others.
“In our right to self -defense, we demolished six Indian airplanes,” he said, adding that US officials in contact with Pakistan at that time recognized the answer and urged the decalcalation.
He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to Peace, saying: “Despite our de -escalation offer, India chose conflicts.”
The event was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, ISHAQ Dar, Ministers, Parliamentarians and members of the Diplomatic Corps.
Appreciating the role of US President Trump to ensure the high fire, the prime minister said Trump has proven to be a man of peace, committed to avoiding cold and hot wars, and promoting trade and prosperity worldwide.
The president of the United States had advised Pakistan and India to go to commerce, investment and renounce war and unworthy, he added.
He also praised the role of friendly and fraternal countries in the Middle East who coordinated and proactively supported Trump’s genuine efforts. He expressed the hope that the truce will be lasting.
The prime minister also extended congratulations to the president of the United States, Trump and the people of the United States on their independence day.
He said that Pakistan’s American ties were entering a renewed mode of friendship, and nearby contacts were being revived.
Tonight, the Pakistani nation joined the American people to pay tribute to the founding fathers of the United States, whose forecast and wisdom had changed the course of history, he said, and added that their democratic struggle, the rule of the Constitution and equality are also resonated with the ideals of Quaid and Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding father of Pakistan.
The prime minister also mentioned that the Paks enjoyed historical, long data and broad -based ties that covered centuries. The United States had supported Pakistan with the construction of dams and other development projects.
After September 11, Pakistan faced a war against terror, his brave forces and people established their lives and during 2018, they had thoroughly defeated terrorism.
Around 90,000 valuable lives were lost, in addition to the country, it suffered economic losses worth $ 150 billion, he said, adding that there could not be a larger demonstration of its commitment and resolution to fight terror in all its tones and colors.
He expressed the hope that the bilateral trade of PAK-US would grow in volumes in the fields of the same, agriculture, education, health, etc., since both countries discussed the problem of the rate.
He said he was really inspired by Trump’s vision for commerce, investment and growth.
Previously, welcoming the distinguished guests, Americans Natalie Baker reaffirmed the strength of relations between Pakistan and expressed optimism about the future of bilateral cooperation.
Marking the 249th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence here at the United States Embassy in Islamabad, he said: “Tonight is not only a celebration of our independence, but a reflection of the shared values that unite our two nations: freedom, equality, self -government and the search for happiness.”
The event was attended by a great meeting of dignitaries, including Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, senior officials of the Pakistani government, members of the diplomatic corps, business leaders, representatives of civil society and cultural icons, Baker paid tribute to lasting friendship between the two countries.
Baker, highlighting the historical nature of the relationship, said that the United States was one of the first countries to recognize Pakistan’s independence in 1947. “During the last 78 years, our association has increased in depth and dimension, rooted in mutual respect and a common vision of opportunities and prosperity,” he added.
He recalled how the development cooperation of the United States, through institutions such as USAID, had contributed to strengthening the sectors of education, health, agriculture and infrastructure of Pakistan, and praised the long -standing ties of people who have been in the heart of bilateral participation.
Baker praised the contribution of US military officers and Pakistani who have trained and served together, saying that their efforts have improved regional security and saved lives. “Our cooperation in defense and counterterrorism has brought tangible results,” he said, citing the recent capture and extradition of Pakistan of the ISIS-K operation responsible for the mortal attack of the Puerta de Abbey 2021 in Afghanistan.
He appreciated the Pakistani government and the security leadership for their role in the promotion of regional peace and stability, particularly recognizing the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the head of the Army personnel seafood, general, general.
Touching the economic commitment, he highlighted the recent Critical Minerals Investment Forum in Pakistan and the growing collaboration in digital innovation and emerging technologies.
