Sherrone Moore’s tenure at Michigan ended abruptly, but there had apparently been smoke long before the saga earlier this month.
Moore was fired after the University of Michigan said it had discovered he had an “inappropriate relationship” with an employee. Shortly after, he was jailed after allegedly breaking into the employee’s home and threatening to commit suicide.
However, Moore was reportedly having problems with attendees inside the building, most notably getting into a heated argument with Wink Martindale earlier in the year.

“Look, we’re trying to help you…get the right recruits,” Martindale allegedly said.
Moore allegedly asked with an insult if Martindale knew what he was doing.

Moore, through tears, apparently responded, “You don’t know how hard it is to be the head football coach and the pressure,” and proceeded to close the papers.

ED ORGERON GIVES ADVICE TO SHERRONE MOORE AFTER SAGA THAT LEFT HIM FIRED, ARRESTED
Moore, if convicted, faces more than half a decade behind bars, which would undoubtedly further damage any hope he may have of ever getting back on the sidelines. His next court date is January 22.
Moore went 16-8 as Michigan’s head coach, going 8-5 in his first year and then 7-3 last season. He missed a pair of games due to a suspension from the school’s sign-stealing investigation.
Prosecutors accused Moore of contacting the employee through phone calls and text messages after the breakup, prompting the woman to contact the University of Michigan and cooperate in its investigation. Moore was subsequently fired from his position as a football coach, which prosecutors say prompted him to show up at her home.
