The training plane of a private air club crashed near the New Islamabad International Airport on Saturday, although both people on board, including a apprentice pilot, escaped unharmed.
The plane fell near Airport Tower 39, in Campos near Ramah Village. According to aviation sources, the plane had taken off on a routine training flight when, according to the reports, a technical malfunction was found in the air, which caused it to crash.
The emergency teams rushed to the scene and transported the pilots to the hospital for medical exam. Security officials sealed the area and immediately launched an investigation.
