The superstar of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Shohei Ohtani, created its 28th home run of the 3-1 victory of the team over the Rockies of Colorado on Thursday in Coors Field.

With the homer, Ohtani became the first player from the member of the Hall of Fame, Willie Mays, reached 28 homers and has six triples in the first 80 games of the team in a season. Mays achieved the feat in 1954.

Ohtani’s home run arrived at the top of the seventh inning with the 2-1 dodgers. There were no runners and two outs when Ohtani created the relief of the rockies, Tyler Kinley, the ball that hung 418 feet in the bullpen of the Dodgers.

The three times MVP is in the middle of another outstanding season for the Dodgers. In 80 games, Ohtani has an average.

Ohtani’s 28 homers are tied in second place in the big leagues with the New York Yankees superstar, Aaron Judge. The seattle sailors, Cal Raleigh, leads the major leagues with 32 homers.

In addition to the excellence that Ohtani provides on the plate, the Japanese star has begun to launch for the team.

Ohtani made his debut on the mound on June 16 against San Diego’s parents and launched an entrance while giving up a two hits race. Ohtani had not launched since August 2023, after he underwent elbow surgery.

His second appearance was also an entrance, when he faced Washington’s nationals on June 22 and launched an entrance without score and struck out two batters.

The Dodgers do not want to send Ohtani to the minor leagues to build their release count, because their bat is too valuable, so their first exits have only been one entrance.
