The Sindh government has announced a two-day public holiday on September 5 and 6 in relation to Eid Milad-Un-Nabi.
A notification issued on Wednesday confirmed that vacations would be observed throughout the province. The holidays correspond to Rabi-ul-Awwal, which marks the birth of the prophet Muhammad (Pbuh).
According to the notification, “the holidays will apply to all government offices, autonomous organisms, semi -autonomous organisms, corporations and local advice that operate under the administrative control of the Government of Sindh.”
However, essential services will continue uninterrupted. “Officials and officials participated in flooding tasks, emergency services and other related services will remain on service during these vacations,” said the notification.

The Federal Government had previously declared on September 6 as a national holiday to mark the religious occasion.
Eid Milad-Un-Nabi is celebrated throughout Pakistan with processions, religious meetings and recitations, as citizens pay tribute to the life and teachings of the prophet (PBUH).
