Sindh declares the festive day of April 4 for the 46th anniversary of Bhutto’s death

The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on Friday, April 4 to commemorate the 46th anniversary of the death of the founder of the Popular Party of Pakistan (PPP) and former prime minister, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

According to a notification issued by the main secretary of Sindh, Asif Haider, Shah, all the offices of the provincial government will remain closed the day.

Vacations will also apply to autonomous and semi -autonomous organisms, corporations and local councils under the administrative control of the provincial government.

To commemorate the anniversary of Bhutto’s death, the PPP will hold a condolence meeting in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on April 4, which is expected to attract workers and supporters of the party throughout the country.

The ceremony, which was attended by notable figures such as the president of the Senate Yousuf Raza Gilani, the president of PPP, Bilawal Bhutto and the first lady ASEEFA Bhutto-Zardari, celebrated those who have made notable contributions in several fields.
