Six members of a family died on Friday, when a vehicle traveled, they diverted from the Neelum Valley road while negotiating an acute turn near the village of Chilyana in Ajk, and hundreds of feet fell underneath, they said the media reports.
The accident occurred on the right bank of the Neelum River, approximately 50 kilometers northeast of the capital of Ajk Muzaffrabad, according to a report, cited the Disaster Management officer of the Neelum Valley Akhtar Ayoub district, as he said.
“He rolled down the mountain slope, but stopped just before entering the river; otherwise, he would have been swept by the violent current,” said Ayoub.
