Hyderabad:
A six -month baby has tested positive for the polyomyelitis virus in a village in the Ghora Bari area of the District of Thatta, taking the total of the country to six cases in the first two months of the year. The Regional Reference Laboratory of the National Institute of Health Institute (NIH) confirmed the case in its latest report.
Dr. Sajid Shaikh, from the Rural Health Center, told the media that the alleged case was taken on January 11. According to him, both legs from Rizwan, six months old, son of Ali Dino Chandio, seemed to be affected by the virus.
