Sixunited, a relatively unknown laptop manufacturer of Shanghai, China, has presented a new notebook that arrives ahead of Dell and Lenovo by adopting the latest high -end portable portable computer processor of AMD.
The XN77-160M-CS presents the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU, also known as Strix Halo, a 16-core chip with Navi Graphics 3.5 Integrated and a 50 tops NPU.
This APU has been rare in the laptop market, with only a handful of models, such as the Zbook Ultra G1A and Asus Rog Flow of HP announced so far.
Large capacity battery
Sixunited will offer two thermal configurations, 85W and 120W, both compatible with a double fan cooling system and combined with LPDDR5X (non -update) memory that is executed at 8000 mt/s.
The storage comes from up to two SSD of 4.0×4 in M.2 2280 format, allowing large and fast settings.
Perhaps the most notable aspects of the new laptop are its 99.9Wh battery, which is the greatest allowed capacity for most airlines.
Despite the large battery, the chassis weighs less than 1.8 kg and is built with aluminum and mylar materials.
The laptop includes a 16 -inch screen at 2560×1600 resolution with an 165Hz update rate and 100% SRGB coverage, with an OLED version also planned for the future.
Videocardz Notes the XN77-160M-CS is a barebones design, which means that it can appear under different brands. Sixunited often acts as an OEM supplier for other companies.
The price is still unknown for now, but it is not likely to be cheap. As a comparison, the AI Max+ 395 laptop of ASUS starts at $ 2099, while the HP device is priced at $ 4099.
The Sixunited movement adds another option for those looking for a compact but powerful laptop with extended battery duration.
It also highlights the growing interest in the STRIX Halo de AMD platform, which to date has appeared mainly in Mini-PC such as the GMKTEC EVO-X2, Beelink AI Mini and Aoostar Nex395.
