- Some exclusive photo editing tools of Pixel 9 could go to older phones
- The automatic frame and reimagine AI tools can be implemented more widely.
- Pixel 6 phones are proposed to obtain update
The Google Pixel 9 series was launched with a pile of the photo editing functions that were exclusive to those devices, but now it seems that Google is preparing to take some of these characteristics to the oldest pixels phones.
As seen by @assembimebug and Android Authority, the latest version of the Google Photos application for the Android features code that suggests that both the automatic frame and the reimagin will be made available to Pixel 6 and the newest phones.
Auto Frame allows you to ensure that the main theme of your photo is well located within that photo, which could involve cutting the image or expanding the background using some AI magic. There is also a similar characteristic on the best Samsung phones.
As for Reimagine, this allows you to adjust parts of your photo using a text message and generation of Ia. You may want to add a car to a street scene, for example, or a tree to a landscape of nature; If you can imagine it, reinventing in Google Photos can do it.
Exclusive pixels
Google has not said anything officially, so it is not clear when these new features will reach phones such as Google Pixel 8 (assuming Google follow this), but the deployment should not be far away.
It makes sense that Google wants many of its functions to edition of AIs are available for as many people as possible, assuming that their phones have the necessary processing power to execute them.
While maintaining the exclusive characteristics of the newest phones can boost sales, it is not clear how many users have been updating to Pixel 9 only to use the characteristics of the AI image, although it has greatly impressed us what they are capable of.
In less than a month we will do everything again, when the Google Pixel 10 series obtains its great presentation on Wednesday, August 20. Wait much more to talk about the power of AI, and perhaps some characteristics that are only available in the new Pixel 10.
