Eight months after a Shaheed Fazil Rahu partner, an imposing figure that emerged during the movement for the restoration of democracy, took his life in Rahu’s tomb, his son also supposedly committed suicide in the same place. The incident occurred in Rahuki, Badin district on Friday.

The body of the 44 -year -old comrade, Ayaz Jokhio, was found at the Mausoleum facilities, then moved to the Hospital of the District headquarters for Post Mortem.

Later, the brother and members of Jokhio’s family, including women and children, in addition to dozens of supporters, organized a protest along with the body, blaming the former provincial minister, Ismail Rahu, for the suicide of Jokhio and his father’s, Comrade Ali Muhammad Jokhio.

Sarang Latif Jokhio, brother of the deceased, said his father and the whole family had worked for Rahus since the 1980s, but his loyalty is returned with corpses. They urged the authorities to conduct an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to suicides.

The protesters later dispersed and the deceased rested next to his father’s tomb in the town of Qabil Jokhio. Sarang said that before death, his brother had told his family not to allow Rahu to come to his funeral. Ismail Rahu, who belongs to the Popular Party of Pakistan (PPP), happened to his father in politics.
