The son of John Elway’s late agent, Jeff Sperbeck, paid tribute to his father in a heartbreaking Instagram post on Sunday.

Jackson Sperbeck gathered a presentation of photo slides, remembering the times he spent with his father before his tragic death at the end of last month. The photos varied from the moment Jackson was a child to his older years.

“Your steps gave me direction. I will walk the rest with a purpose,” the collage subtitled. “I love you dad.”

Jeff Sperbeck, 62, died from the wounds suffered in a golf racing accident in California. The Riverside County Forensic Office ruled that his death was accidental due to blunt head trauma.

“The cause of death is ‘blunt head trauma’, and the way of death is ‘accident’, and the death mode (how the injury occurred) is ‘the passenger fell from the golf cart'”. The Forensic Office said in the statement obtained by Pak Gazette Digital earlier this month.

The statement added that the injury occurred when the “passenger fell from the” golf cart.

Elway issued a statement about the death of his agent for a long time.

“I am absolutely devastated and disconsolate by the death of my close friend, business partner and agent Jeff Sperbeck,” Elway said in a statement, through ESPN.

“There are no words to truly express the deep sadness I feel with the sudden loss of someone who has meant a lot to me.

“My heart and my deepest sympathies go out with Jeff’s wife, Cori; her children Carly, Sam and Jackson; and all who knew him and loved him. Jeff will be deeply surprised by loyalty, wisdom, friendship and love that brought my life and the life of many others.”
