- Sony’s headphones replaced the WF-C700N budget assembly have launched
- The new WF-C710n outbreaks bring user detection and improve battery life
- … Oh, and an impressive transparent color ‘glass’
It is unlikely that you have missed the excellent Sony WF-C700N headphones. They sat on the list of the best budget headphones of Techradar for more than a year after its launch in April 2023, until Nothing Ear (a) swept in all 13 months later and after a lot of deliberation, including a feature nothing (a) versus Sony WF-C700N, we remember that the option of nothing should take its place.
But as of today, there is a new Sony child in the city: Sony WF-C710n-Entances, ER, 10 more than the oldest model (it is difficult to understand Sony’s nicknames; it seems better to me slightly, as we did with the cheap and very good, but-de-evoid of Sony WF-C510, and move on). The point is that they are here to replace the Sony WF-C700N, and that ‘n’ definitely means ‘noise cancellation’.
However, before entering the specifications, let’s talk about that new works ‘Blue Glass’ in addition to the black, white and pink finishes. It is transparent like marine glass and for anyone who does not remember anything that works at the point of its mostly transparent stems and housing of drivers, this seems so easy …
Sony WF-C710N specifications and characteristics
So what are the updates? In the first place, the resistance: Without anc display, Sony tells me that you can wait a total 40 -hour battery duration, or 12 hours of the shoots and another 28 of the box. With the cancellation of noise on, it is 8.5 hours and 21.5 hours in the case, or a total battery of 30 hours before needing a USB-C charger. It is a great step forward of the 20 hours without Anc (or 15 with it) the total duration of the battery that will obtain the outgoing model.
Next, there is a new Sony Companion application called ‘Sound Connect’ that, in addition to the Sony Five Bands EQ tab, adds a feature called ‘Find My Equalizer’. This reproduces several clues and asks you to choose a favorite of five EQ prejustments, to create a personalized profile adjusted to your ears.
Also in the New-For-WF-C710N list is the user’s detection, which is something we really wanted to see at the Sony WF-C710N, because it means that they will pause the audio when one eliminates one and resumes it when you put it back in the ear.
In other places, the tactile controls in the ear are back, including volume settings, reproduction, access to noise cancellation profiles, the call -free call from Gemini or Siri, in addition to fast attention, which means that when covering a headset, reproduction is cut and its microphones are amplified to listen better to the person who altered him in his desk. (It’s a great characteristic. I really love it …)
In those microphones, you now get two by shoots with a new ‘Double noise sensor’ technology to choose and amplify your voice while saying strange noise on calls. Microphones now also have a special wind noise reduction. There are also multiple points for two devices, adaptive sound control for ANC, Sony’s 360 reality audio solution (but remember, unfortunately is no longer compatible with the format) and Sony’s best input level scale to make Spotify Spotify transmissions sound closer to real.
However, the 5 mm controller unit seems unchanged, and although there is a Bluetooth 5.3 chipset, at the launch, the WF-C710N will not admit aircost audio transmissions in airports and dental surgeries, when they arrive. Nor is there LDAC support with the highest resolution (its codec support is limited to SBC and AAC) and the selection of the end of the ear is limited to only three sizes (small, medium and large), however, it seemed to me that its older brothers are not the best headphones for smaller ears, so, from the size of the driver and the dimensions of the headphones here they seem not to be particularly concerned, I am not particularly worried about the adjustment.
Prices? Certainly. Sony WF-C710n headphones are priced at £ 100 or € 120 (so only £ 1 more than the WF-C700N) in the United Kingdom and Europe, au $ 119.99 in the United States and au $ 189.95 in Australia.
How good are they and should hurry and buy a set? I am working on a complete review and I will let you know soon …
